Greetings secret agents, I am Q, BBQ.. that’s right..
Here is your case to solve..
On the North Island Westy Coast, with big mountain in zee middle we find Taranaki!
It has surfing highway, plenty of gas, zee beautiful volcano, and zee small town of Inglewood.
Only 20 minutes from the city of New Plymouth this friendly little township is very famous for it’s Fun Ho toy museum and of course having the largest rhododendron tree in the entire southern hemisphere!!
They are my favourite flowers.. But.. something sinister is afoot!
Or more specifically.. afoot with no sock!
Recently Inglewood had big tragedy at zee Taranaki Rhododendron festival!
Peoples came from all over to smell and look at gardens of flowers.. but when they went sniffy at Inglewood flowers they smell stinky old smelly socks!! Ewwww.
The stench was soo bad the judges had to give first prize to big orange cube with plastic flowers!
SO..Why did the Inglewood rhododendrons stink like old socks?
I-SPY intelligence believe there may be link in this case to “the great missing sock mystery!”
Yes agents, for many years all over New Zealands, 1 sock from every pair has mysteriously disappeared!
Perhaps this has happened to you!!
Even I am not immune to this tragedy!
Just a few weeks ago my own personal left sock became MIW, missing in wash!
Interestingly it is always the left socks that disappear!
So could all the missing sockies be causing the stinky flowers in Inglewood?
And if so..
Whooo is stealing the left socks?
Hooow did they make the flowers stinky?
And why did they do it????
